Size Guide

How to measure yourself

Use a soft measuring tape, over light clothing or underwear, standing relaxed. Do not pull the tape tight.

  • Bust: Around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level.
  • Underbust: Directly under your bust, snug but not tight. This helps with bra band size.
  • Waist: Around your natural waist, usually just above your belly button.
  • Hip: Around the fullest part of your hips.

General size chart (inches)

This is a general guide for Isla Intimates clothing, lingerie and pajamas. Where a product description lists its own measurements, use those instead — they override this chart.

M 36-37 28-29 38-39
L 38-40 30-32 40-42
XL 41-43 33-35 43-45
2XL 44-46 36-38 46-48
3XL 47-49 39-41 49-51
4XL 50-52 42-44 52-54
5XL 53-55 45-47 55-57

Bra fit, in brief

Your underbust measurement, rounded to the nearest even number, is a starting point for band size. The difference between your bust and underbust measurements gives a starting cup size: about 1 inch = A, 2 inches = B, 3 inches = C, 4 inches = D, and so on. Bra fit varies a lot by style, so use the product measurements where they are listed.

Pajamas and loungewear

Use the same bust, waist and hip measurements above. Most pajama sets are a relaxed fit — if you are between sizes or want a looser, lounge-all-day fit, size up.

Please note

Supplier sizing varies from brand to brand, so two items in the same size may fit a little differently. Always check the measurements on the individual product page first. If you are between sizes, we usually recommend sizing up for comfort. If you are unsure, contact us and we will help you pick a size.
